October Special Town Meeting
Monday, October 3, 2011 – 7:00 p.m.
Members Present: Stephen Amico, James Egan, Richard Flynn, and Donald Howard
Members Absent: David Soper
Others Present: Town Administrator Rene’ J. Read and Executive Assistant Meredith Marini
I 7:00 p.m.~~~~~~~Chairman Amico called the meeting to order.
II FINALIZE RECOMMENDATIONS – Mr. Read indicated all the recommendations are in order. The Highway and Clerical Unions have not settled. The motions for the articles will be to Passover.
III APPOINTMENTS:
Drainage Committee – Planning Board Designee – Stephen Regan – Term June 30, 2012
Community Preservation – Planning Board Designee – Kenneth Lawson – Term June 30, 2012
Cultural Council – Jill Beaulieu 68 Woodman Terrace – Term to Expire June 30, 2013
MOTION by Egan, second by Howard to appoint Stephen Regan to the Drainage Committee – Term to expire June 30, 2012. Voted 4 – 0
MOTION by Flynn, second by Howard to appoint Kenneth Lawson to the Community Preservation Committee term to expire June 30, 2012. Voted 4 – 0
MOTION by Flynn, second by Howard to appoint Jill Beaulieu to the Cultural Council Term to expire June 30, 2012. Voted 4 - 0
IV ADJOURNMENT
MOTION by Flynn, second by Howard to adjourn to Town Meeting. Voted 4 – 0
